Helping the Public Identify and Eradicate Invasive Species
We are on the midst of an invasion.
It is a foreign invasion and it is wreaking havoc across the United States.

Kudzu - The Carnivorous Invasive
As relentless and indiscriminate as an invading army, this invasion is establishing beachheads in every part of the country and the populace, more often than not, is unsuspecting, unaware and about to be overwhelmed.
We’re talking about invasive species of plants and various forms of aquatic and insect life and the damage they are causing to the environment, to agriculture, to our wetlands and our lakes, streams and rivers is incalculable. Sometimes known as invasive exotics, an invasive species is described as non-indigenous, or non-native plants an animals that have adverse and monumental consequences to the natural habitat of native vegetation and wildlife and do great damage to the ecology.

Asian Carp
They come in a variety of forms and have strange-sounding names. Phragmites australis. The emerald ash borer. The Japanese beetle. Asian carp. Zebra mussels. Kudzu. Alligator Weed. The lists are long and growing daily.
But what is alarming as the devastation these invasive species are doing is the lack of action by governments and the indifference of the average citizen.
We are dedicated to changing that. To doing all we can to mobilize people and civic groups and local, state and federal governmental agencies to Stop Invasive Species.
You will find on the pages here information about various invasive species and what can be done to stop the damage they are causing. Our blog will chronicle news developments, eradication programs and infestation alerts.

Phragmites
This is a cause that needs to be known. With an economy already in great difficulty, the damage done by these invasive species to tourism, agriculture and real estate is growing daily. If you care about our environment, we urge you to join us here…. and Stop Invasive Species.
It’s truly in all of our interests.
